HOW TO GET TO VANCOUVER ISLAND

Whether you cruise on the ocean or fly over it, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands, the Strait of Georgia, and coast mountains of British Columbia on your way to beautiful Vancouver Island!

Vancouver Island is accessed from mainland British Columbia and Washington State in the U.S. by ferry service and by numerous airlines. Provided below is contact information for transportation services to and on Vancouver Island.

Our pre-trip information package, which is mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit, contains detailed information to assist you in your travel planning for getting to your sea kayaking tour point of embarkation. Please contact our office at anytime if you require assistance in travel plans.

Our multi-day sea kayaking adventures require that you arrive to the point of embarkation for the evening prior to the departure date. Included in your pre-trip information is a listing of accommodation suggestions for the town in which your trip originates. Accommodation reservations should be made well in advance as they can sell out quickly in the summer months.

If you are requiring accommodations at other Vancouver Island or mainland British Columbia destinations, prior to, or after, your trip with us, we suggest you visit the Tourism British Columbia website. TOURISM BRITISH COLUMBIA is available to travelers to assist in accommodation bookings, and to provide other visitor services and activities information.
